Prof. Amir Sharif is Dean of the Faculty of Management, Law and Social Sciences, and is Professor of Circular Economy. Amir has held a number of leadership roles in business schools, and prior to academia was a practitioner who worked for a number of multinationals in the professional services and financial services sector (including JPMorgan, UBS Investment Bank and KPMG). He has also consulted and provided advice to a range of national and multinational organisations in terms of strategic planning, leadership and systems / futures thinking - including British Airways, Epson Seiko Corporation, the NHS, HM Government (Cabinet Office, Treasury, Defra) and many other organisations. Amir teaches and carries out research in the areas of circular economy, food waste and food systems, operations / supply chain, and increasingly, public health. He tweets as @amsharif.
